Subject	Is there any use for the old Bose amplifiers?

Message	I'm trying to inventory and sort all of my old/spare car parts so that I can clear out some space, and I came across the amplifiers used in the OEM Bose stereo system. I have no clue whether or not they still function properly, but I seemed to recall some talk here on tt.net about people having them repaired/rebuilt/refurbished at one point. So does anyone know what the story on this is? I wouldn't mind basically giving these away if I thought that they could be put to good use, but otherwise I will just toss them in the trash.
